You say you read the Bible but how many of you actually practice the words which Jesus Christ himself taught us?

This question pertains to all Christians. Many of us read the Bible here, but how many of you actually practice what is said in the Bible?

I mean not just merely memorizing verses and chapter.

Here some questions that I think we should reflect on.

Do you love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, body, and mind?

Do you love your neighbor as you love yourself?

How many of you pray for your enemies?

Are you merciful towards others?

How many of you forgive those who hurt you?

How many of you feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the imprisoned, shelter the homeless, visit the sick?

Do you ignore these deeds or live by them?

I’d like to be charitable towards you, but at the same time to say, what’s your point?

No one can live up to all of this. We are in a life-long conversion (running a race like St. Paul says) to “repent” and follow Jesus.

I like to think sometimes if I have managed to go ten minutes without committing a sin? But, as soon as I answer that question, I am sinning against pride.

Your right !! and I have no doubt that God is speaking through you when you speak like this.

I admit I dont do all the good that I could be doing. One thing the Lord has put on my heart is to Volunteer in a Junvenile dentention center.

I need to be doing this in his Spirit and with his Love.

Faith without Works is Dead.

All of us as Followers of Christ should be doing something for God

We do this in and through Christ and not in our Own Power, that is why Prayer is so Important.

We have to convert everyday as Fr. Corapi said.
