You too can do Apologetics

I was at a Prophecies of Hope seminar put on by the Seventh Day Adventist church. I was not there to disrupt their show. I was invited by a young man who I am hoping to be used by God to bring him into the Catholic Church.

Well we just got to the part were the RCC is shown to be the little horn and beast.
After the talk I saw a mother looking upset talking to her Adventist friends about her being raised Catholic. She had tears in her eyes and you could tell she was hurt by all that was said.

I thank God for Catholic Answers. I was able to console her and reassure her about Christ’s Church. I gave her my phone number as well as Catholic Answers website. I told her that I would be happy to meet with her and answer any questions she may have.

I also got a chance to talk to the SDA Minister who is doing the presentation. Like you I to can’t spit out chapter and verse like a machine gun. Also like you thanks to Catholic Answers I was able to stand tall and in love share with him and defend our Faith. The only said thing as I could tell he was not leaning to me. You know the feeling you can get when some one thinks you are brainwashed into the RCC “cult”.

The win was with Lucy the mother who was in tears. She has been gone from the church for a wile. I almost begged her to make an appointment with Fr Richard and go to confession. You could tell God was working on her heart as I asked her to come home.
I told her about St. Marys my parish and her people.

You to can do apologetics. God can and will use you to help lost sheep find their way home. All you need to do is say yes to God when the time comes.

Outstanding job, Shellac! You’re one of the few Catholics in our country doing their job!

Keep learning (hint: we never finish. Even the Pope has his own theologian.) and keep going to God about man before going to man about God. Prayer, fasting, sacrifice, etc., for the salvation of souls. Find two or three others who are good, faithful Catholics and form a small spiritual group. Pray together for the salvation of souls. Plot for the salvation of souls! If you target someone, pray for them ahead of time. Then, one of the group will approach them while the rest are kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament. It’s like using cluster bombs! VERY effective!

I just got a call from my SDA friend. He would like to meet with me and sit down with his minister and myself. Say a prayer that god will give me the words to speak. In all thing let me speak out of love 1 Cor 13.1.

In a good way let me go forth into “battle” with my namesake St. Michael "“Who Is Like God?”

Back. Thanks to all who lifted me up in prayers. We talk for about 2hrs. Net time we meet we will discuss how Jesus founded a Church. 2 books I will eat sleep pray. Stephen Ray Upon This Rock. And Dave Armstrong The Catholic Verses.
