That’s what a friend told me recently. I don’t know why but that’s bothered me more then anything lately. Of course I’m about as far away from being a parent as you can possible get right now. Makes me wonder what could have been or could be. This is probably just the season talking. So all you moms out there hug your kids for me and take a second look at the treasure GOD has given you. 😃 👍 😉

People tell me that all the time. Kind of makes me sad because I always wanted to be a mom. That’s what I wanted to be when I grew up:D Oh, well. God obviously has other plans for me, at least for now.

Paula- You still hangin around Starbucks for free coffee? I told ya those guys are weird.

Yeah, since finals are over all the college guys have gone home. So hanging out at Starbucks is kind of useless:D

Wishing you lots of luck. I’ll pass the Starbuck que on to my younger sister. College guys are just a bit too young for me. Now if they have any older brothers…that would be another issue. 😃

They’re actually too young for me, too. It’s so hard to be facetious when you’re typing:D

No she’s not Sierrah, she told me college boys hit on her all the time LOL. 😛

I used to have this said to me, especially when people found out I wasn’t married (and still aren’t).

I would ask them why they thought so.

There tended to be two sorts types of answer. The first “All women have the potential to be a good mother”. The second tended to be around needing to have children so I wouldn’t have a lonely old age. I could never understand how either answered my question.

I admire those who have children and bring them up well especially those who have had to learn how to be a good parent - I always knew that the challenge of children wasn’t for me.

Another group of parents I particularly admire are step-parents and other relatives (including grandparents and great grandparents) who bring up children when their parents are able unable or unwilling to do so.

Just thinking you could join Big Brothers/Big Sisters…alot of children could sure benefit from a caring person to take them out for a half a day…Then, the next time someone says, You would be a really good Mom, tell them you don’t have children ,but your a great big sister…and you get to give the child back at the end of the day…Wow…or could be practice for future, but either way it’s a win-win situation…Just a thought…Also my daughter does not have children, nor does she want any…don’t think her impatient nature would handle them well ,but she is a great loving person who cares about many people…warmly, LynneMarie
