I agree!
On the subject of men ‘not taking the pill’ - one of the most scary things about the pill is that in a secular society, it erodes the strength of a woman’s argument to say ‘no’.
When I was taught about contraception at school, it was with the message that it’s positively okay to have sex and a part of ‘growing up’ because we have contraception to protect us.
This sends out the wrong message - especially to teenagers who are somewhat hormonally-driven and lacking judgement

D) because it takes away any reason - other than one of personal belief - for waiting until marriage because the risk of getting pregnant is seen as ‘the problem’ and contraception - ‘the solution’.

One of the saddest expressions I see used in the media over here is the term, “I fell pregnant” Seriously, I know pregnancy is not without risks, but it is not a disease that one can catch like a cold! You don’t ‘fall’ pregnant - you become pregnant because you have had sexual intercourse: either unprotected or because the method of contraception you have chosen hasn’t worked. Once again, it’s eroding the validity and importance of human life and also eroding the responsibility of the individual for his / her actions.
The only way I know to fall pregnant is to land very awkwardly, by chance, on a man and somehow lose your knickers in the process
