@EndTimes @(name removed by moderator) I don’t think this is an either/or question. I believe the OP is simply looking for suggestions. I am not sure what end is served by criticizing other people’s suggestions. The OP knows this boy personally and will be best placed to know what may or may not be useful for him. Of course reading the New Testament would be a good place to start for anybody wanting to learn about Christianity. I don’t believe that I suggested otherwise. God works with people in interesting ways that can be different from one person to another. Some people will be persuaded by apologetic and didactic texts, whereas others, especially if they have never previously studied Christianity, may find them hard to access. I was only suggesting an alternative option. I feel that I am somewhat under attack on this thread when I have said nothing wrong.

Then he ranks amongst the very few who’ve ever done that -
and - assuming that he acquired a fairly decent grasp of the Teachings of Messiah Jesus,
he’s way ahead of many who have not.

I am not sure what end is served by criticizing other people’s suggestions.
