Meh.
I mean, yes. Of course one can see it as disturbing. But it’s HBO, Jude Law, and an American pope. No surprise what it’s turned into.

Yeah I wasn’t really surprised. I just found the thought of a Pope being like that disturbing.
Not that we haven’t had really disgustingly terrible Pope’s in the past.

I wouldn’t mind the tone per say. I for one would welcome a Pope willing to stand up and boldly proclaim the truth including the sinfulness of people and the need to repent.
However some of what he says is simply false teaching, such as saying God is not interested in you until you are interested in him. Also he says It is not his job to show you God but your job to find him. The Church’s mission is to show people the truth of God through word and deed.
I have never seen the show and doubt I will as I have no doubt the show will spew all sorts of heresy and filth if its not already.
