Aggie Fan? Could be worse, like a AUBURN FAN. I’ll say this, if you’re still with them after the last few years, then I respect ya, for sticking in the bad times.

Wed night=taco night. Lately been altering between our house and my nephews, but if ya move to Alabama, we can expand, by coming to your house for tacos every 3rd Wednesday. Be warned my son is worse in the kitchen then me, after all I trained him.

Is Dixe Bell a native Texan?
Yep, I’ve been with them all along, but I tell ya – I’m ready for the Aggies to make a come back.

I’m not the greatest cook, but I think I can handle tacos. If they don’t turn out, I’m sure there’s a Taco Bell nearby; right:D

Yes, Dixie is a native Texan; but she’s pretty adaptable. She could handle Alabama.

I am interesting to know about Catholic point of view about younger husband. What is the tollerable range of age(according to the Catholic Church), when the husband is younger than the wife?

I have used to think that it is ok if the difference is about 2 or 3 years, but I also found spouses who have difference of age more than 3 years, even 7 years (the husband is younger).

What is the Scripture or Tradition says about this?
My dad’s bf has been married for over 30 years and he is 15 years younger than his wife…

My dad’s boss has been married for 15 years and he is also 15 years younger than his wife…

My bffs all married men 2+ years younger than they are…so far happily married…

My dad is 2 years younger than my mom, going on 30+ years…

I think that if you are happy with the person and he loves you and makes you happy and respects you and you enjoy each other’s company etc then why should age matter?

I have a friend who’s 30 and has been dating this guy for almost 3 years, they started dating when he was 17, he’s now 20… Seems like robbing the cradle but he’s really mature, has been supporting himself since he was 16, he is finishing up his Bachelor’s all ready at age 20 and is actually financially stable… He quit hs when he was 15 graduated with his ged when he was 16, has been working and going to college right after and since he had his associate’s at 18 has been an intern for a really good company and at 20 is graduating with his bachelor’s… I think she did well in finding a great companion. They are planning on getting married in 6 months, I wish them well… and there is a huge age difference!! He loves her and they are I mean like always googling over each other!! LOL.

I think it’s sweet but most people think it’s disgusting!! LOL

My youngest brother has a friend, she quit hs when she was 15 as well and got her GED at 16, she’s now 21 and is working on her MASTER’s her bf is older than her but she was dating a guy that was younger than her, he was 16 and she was 19, he was doing the same thing she did, but he decided he wanted a younger gf so he left her. She’s been dating this great older guy now, but she says that she didn’t mind dating a younger guy at all and she enjoyed his company but that now she wouldn’t trade her older guy ever!

So it all depends on what you want and need.

My sister’s friend is married to a younger guy, he’s immature as heck, but they get along perfectly well. They complement each other, whatever she’s missing he has and whatever he’s missing she has…They have been together for 4 years and getting married in 4 months… So I think that’s great.

Like I said whatever works you know?!

Following the death of my dad, my mom remarried when I was 13. My stepfather was 8 years younger than her, which means that he was only 13 years older than me. They’ve now been married for 28 years and are still very happy. My kids have certainly loved having a grandpa who is young and fun!

It’s unusual, but given the right people, it can work.

I’m three years older than my husband. As long as you are both consenting adults, there is no impediment to marriage put in place by the Church… why would you think there was?

I am 11 years older than my husband. Age hasn’t been an issue in our marriage at all. We both joined the Church in 2008 and nothing was said about our age difference being a problem.
