It is nice to know I am not alone! I am going to go to confession and talk further with a priest. Thanks to this advice on here I have been able to think more into my situation, it is hard to date someone who is not a catholic because he doesn’t understand the importance of these kind of things such as chastity, and I always seem to fall in the heat of the moment or don’t avoid any near occasions of possible sin. Thanks for the tips. I think the biggest thing is being alone in the same room together which seems to be too much of a temptation…and because I am not a strong person and tend to be easily influenced it makes it all the more difficult. I am going to take all ofthis into consideration

I am going to have a talk with him and am not going to sabatoge my values anymore. .
Here is my 2 cents, take it or leave it (meant in a sincere tone)

What on earth is there to talk about? You had this discussion and you have become a broken record. This modern day psychology about ‘talking about it’ is often a lot of garbage. Action speaks louder than words.

It has been my experience that if a young man wants sex, that is all that is on his mind. At best he will ignore what you say. Too often, if you say ‘Let’s avoiding drinking because I cave’, the first thing the guy will do is buy you a beer. The more you tell him how you can be tempted, the more information he has to use against you. Again, I am referring to men who don’t respect women. I am not talking about the real gentlemen.

It has also been my experience, if I am walking with a man, he will just turn and go towards a park or secluded place without asking me if I would like to go to the park. The man has his plan and he knows better to tell it to the women because that will give her the opportunity to run away. The woman must be on guard and not ‘follow his lead’.

If you talk to him, my fear is he will make empty promises and you will fall for it. 2 years is long enough to know he does not respect you
