No I haven’t been there. I don’t think anyway. Where is it located? I also spend sometime in Mokena when I go back home as one of my favorite cousins lives there. I’m not sure the exact area she lives in but we attend St. Mary’s Church which is right down the street from her.
There is also a beef place in Mokena that is very good too. Where is Buona Beef?
The original is in Berwyn at Roosevelt and Oak Park, but there is one about a half mile east of Johnny’s on North Avenue about a block east of Harlem (across where there used to be the Boston Market).
Oh now I know where you are talking about. As a matter of fact I have been to the Johnny’s on North Ave and now since you have jogged my memory I have been to that very same Buona Beef. Oh I’m about ready to hop on a plane and get some real food.
OP I hope you find some great pizza but don’t rule out the beef sandwiches with green peppers/fries/tamale and an Italian Lemonade.
