Your favorite birthday?

Hi Yehuda, you’re young. 😉

Mine was my 30th, 15 years ago. I dreaded it so I got a kitten to keep me young. 🙂 I had a lot of fun with him and he was my companion for more than 13 years until he passed away in 2011. Now I have another kitten, 9 months old. ;)ws

And I thought I was getting old at 24… hahaha XD
 
Now at age 61 with my birthday coming soon, I have to say EVERY birthday!
 
Mine would have to be my 30th birthday. My sons made me a homemade card. 😃
 
On my 25th birthday I was in grad school. I lived in a graduate dorm. I was in another state, but my parents came down. I had a party and invited women I had met; we were from all different countries. It was fun.
 
For obvious reasons, my favorite was when i turned 21. Got the big 4 0 in a few months :eek:
 
It probably sounds silly, but I’d have to say my 13th birthday.

A week before I turned 13, my area was hit with a terrible snow storm, and as a result, my family (as well as 400,000 other poor souls) lost all electricity. I was very unhappy and scared for several days that my birthday would be horrible. But after a while, I learned that I needed to suck it up and to appreciate what we did have.

It ended up being a wonderful day once I changed my attitude! I got all cozy in warm clothing and blankets and spent some time with a very dear friend of our family. And to top it off, my parents surprised me by making reservations at one of my favorite restaurants (I do not know how that ended up being possible as I look back and think about how the weather was that day).

I am 19 now…and so far, nothing has been quite as wonderful as my 13th Bday.
 
Today was one of my favorite birthdays. My husband took the day off of work and took me out to lunch and waited on me all day. My children called me, two of my brothers and my sister called and it was a very relaxing day. In all it was a great day. I needed it being as I have been a bit stressed lately.
 
Probably my 6th. My parents called it my “special art party” and bought a little cake for every kid we invited, then let them all decorate the cakes however they wanted. It was fun seeing what all the kids decided to make. 🙂

Most of my parties just involve me, my 2 or 3 closest friends, some video games, and an angel food cake with strawberry glaze. That’s pretty much a perfect description of my 16th birthday, my most recent. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. 😃
 
Probably my 9th because I had really good friends over and we had a lot of fun and it was just really happy. ^.^
I’ve only had fourteen so far though.
 
I loved my 50th birthday. I chose to have some special friends over for a grown-up sleep-over. I was already a widow and my girls were teenagers. By chance a number of my friends were also single. We put mattresses on the floor of the living room for sleeping. A friend catered the supper for me. We went to church in the morning and after church the husbands joined us for a barbecue.
