Fatima has almost been ruined in my heart by zealots who almost disregard the Gospels and focus solely on Fatima.

ANATHEMA!I thought St. Maximilian Kolbe was a Carmelite and not a Fransiscan.
love this! very well saidNow you’ve really cornered me. I have several representations of Our Lady that I love for different reasons.
My first love is The Immaculate Heart. I’ve always prayed that I may love with a heart as pure as her own and as filled with grace. Her heart conforms to that of Christ in all things.
My second is Our Lady of Hope, which is the pregnant Mary. In today’s world where one person has the right to reduce the life of the unborn to a choice, while the unborn has no right to an advocate, not even the father,. . . someone has to remind us that the Son of God was also a fetus.
My third is Our Lady of the Angels, which in the USA we know as The Immaculate Conception. She is the patron of the Franciscan Order under the title of The Immaculate Conception. The friars defended that title centuries ago, her greatest advocate being Bl. John Duns Scotus. The image is beautiful, especially the one in Assisi, which I believe may be the original under that name. I’m not sure about that. I thought I heard that.

Wow! Nothing like getting a bright ANATHEMA! on the screen to get my attention!![]()
I wonder if perhaps Little One0307 was thinking of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross?
That may be. They were contemporaries. Both were killed by the Nazis. They died almost exactly a year apart. He died August 14, 1941 and she died August 9, 1942.amsjj![]()
