One of my favorites, from C. S. Lewis: *You don’t “have” a soul. You ARE a soul. You “have” a body. *

another, a bit sharp perhaps but useful in some conversations:

Hi everyone! What a wonderful collection of quotes! I’ve always loved quotes (my college dorm room walls were covered in them!) Because I have so many favorites, I’ll just share one for now, since it just popped into my head. My mother told me this one (sorry, I don’t know where she got it from):

If Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, “Jesus, can you get that for me please?” 😉

Yeah, I love it!! 😃 I just like picturing Jesus actually opening a door and Satan being so scared and running away!!! 😃 Isn’t it wonderful to think how Jesus is everything we need – savior, protector, friend, brother. ❤️ :gopray2:

I bought Fulton Sheen’s Wartime Prayer Book and liked this quote:

And from *Mother Angelica’s Little Book of Life Lessons and Everyday Spirituality * these three stuck in particular:

I haven’t read through the whole thread, so pardon me if I’m repeating, but one of my favorites is from Mother Teresa:
