A family from our parish are preparing for a pilgrimage to Lourdes .

They will be there for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes .

They will take petitions to leave at the Grotto .

If any of you want them to take a petition with them just put it on the thread or PM me .

I will place the petitions in a sealed envelope .

The last day I will be able to give them to them will be Sunday next , 3rd Feb .

The conversion of my family members.
That the irregular marriage situation in my family will be reguarlised.
Comfort for families who have had member diagnosed with terminal illnesses.

There was a man interviewed on the local news during the govt shutdown. He lives with his elderly mother and their pets in an apt. The landlord was preparing to throw them out this week if he couldn’t come up with the $1500.00 rent for this month. And now, he will have to pay next month’s too.

My prayer petition is that now that the shutdown is over, for 3 weeks anyway, that this man’s landlord will wait for the back pay to get to him and not throw the man, his mother and their pets out.

For the souls of all the deceased members of my family and all my deceased friends.
For all the Holy Souls, especially those who have no one to pray for them.
For Our Lady to please pray for me in dealing with the large number of responsibilities I have right now.
For the resolution of the sexual abuse crisis in the Church, for peace in the world especially in the Middle East.
And in thanksgiving for all her help so far.

Please ask this family to pray for the repose of the soul of my friend Fr. G, who died unexpectedly last Monday (21 January). 😞

Thank you for posting this. May Our Blessed Mother protect Michael, he is very sick and also very lonely.
 
I ask that you offer up my request:
I humbly ask that the situation my family is in resolves itself quickly in our favor, allowing us to be together-- free some separation-- so that we can move forward together in the newfound appreciation and love we have for each other, our extended families, and the word of God.

Sorry , but our priest got it wrong last week .

Tony and his family are going away this week but not to Lourdes .

They are going to Lourdes in May .

So I will hang on to the petitions and give them to him in May

It also gives a chance to anyone else who wants to include their petitions .

For all the unborn innocents and for the conversion of those who support abortion and infanticide. Pray for them Holy Mary, Lady of Lourdes.

I'm sick, I can't pay rent, and I don't know where to go Prayer Intentions
I am sick right now. Just a cold, from the recent 0 degree temperatures. I’ve been sick since Thursday evening. I don’t know where I’ll be in a month from now. Right now, I don’t have a way of paying the rent for February. I’ve been unemployed and depressed. My family isn’t in my life. I’m 26. I’m not welcome to live with my mother or my father. I have a brother who has made money through a very immoral line of work, so I wouldn’t live with him even if he could take me in. On Monday I will see …
