I’ve already seen my other 4 favorites listed, so I’m posting only to add my fifth choice that nobody else has mentioned yet. High Noon, starring Gary Cooper should be on anyone’s list, I believe. Rarely does a movie show courage so accurately. He is scared and has much to lose, but still he does his duty.

You beat me to it! That is my favorite movie ever. Next would be The Great Escape, also already mentioned.

I don’t know if these would be considered “Hollywood” movies, but Dreamkeeper & The 10th Kingdom are movies I can watch over & over.

Tomorrow it could be five other movies. I could do a list of just Hitchcock ones. Lots of good stuff from the big studios.
