I keep a typed list of personal prayer intentions, saved as a Word document. I also have a handwritten list for new and more temporary intentions. When that list gets long, I transfer some of the intentions to my Word document, reviewing it for any long-term intentions that should be dropped, and hand-writing any short-term intentions that are still viable.
Here’s my current long-term list:
Prayer Intentions

For Jocelyn, Claudette, Evelyn, Jeannine and their families…
For Rick and Linda, Denise and Claude, Diane N, and all their families…
For everyone at Tri County Mental Health and for their work…
For my Carmelite Community and for all the Carmelite intentions…
For Brother Joseph Thinh Tran, O…Carm and all Carmelites in formation…
For Mark M and for all who suffer same-sex attraction…
For Sr. Monique, Ann-Marie, and all who work in the parish music ministries…
For priestly, religious, and marriage vocations…
For the Presence Radio Network…
For those who are poor and hungry, those who are lost and lonely, those who are sick and dying, those who are depressed and despairing…
For the leaders of our country, for those who have power and influence…
For those who have lost their faith and for those who do not know you…
For those who are lost in their own sin and for those who struggle to do good…
For all who seek You sincerely and for those who seek You in the wrong places…
For an end to abortion, euthanasia, contraception, and homosexuality…
For our ordained deacons, priests, bishops, and pope… For our consecrated religious and all those who minister to the people of God…
For those who have no one else to pray for them…
For all those for whom I have forgotten to pray…
For myself, that I may become more holy and pleasing to God…
