Your prayers- feeling depressed

Sorry for this but I just found out my pap came back with cancerous cells in my uterus…I am not even 30 yet and hoping to get married and have more children but I guess this is just too difficult to grasp and handle! I am not feeling well and I don’t know what to do…To think my young boyfriend might never have legitimate children with me pains me even more than anything in this world…

I go for biopsy on wednesday, please pray that the pap is incorrect…please that GOD may have mercy on me and allow this pap to be incorrect and that I will still be able to provide life…

I am not feeling well right now…

I know I shouldn’t worry but just the thought of “cancer” and “uterus” well…

No apologies needed! The unknown is scary. You are still in the unknown. Maybe ask John Paul the Great for some prayers, to be not afraid. (Advice I also need.) I am also great at worrying over possibilities far down the road. It doesn’t do anything positive. If we worry, we make it harder to receive to the graces God wants to give. I will pray for a negative result, and also the grace to be hopeful. I’m sorry this is a hard time for you.
 
Praying that your initial diagnosis is incorrect and that you get good news.

Praying for you. I had a scare like this once. The doctor performed a removal of the uterine lining. Praise God, nothing else! But it was a very scary time, and the information came when I was on vacation. :eek:

Thank you, hopefully all will be negative…I am trying to contain myself it’s just really hard whenever things like this come up…God willing it is nothing… thank you and hope you have a great Thanksgiving! God bless!

Oh the scare of the big C word! Honey, all of us would be in pretty much the same situation as you, we would be scared and then we would take some time to figure out just exactly what that means.

Look if my heart can drop when I hear “fast growing tumor” from my vets sub. (he never did say cancer but I did and he agreed it could be but then again, it didn’t have to be) how much more so for one of our children or ourselves! Yes, I did end up having to put him down, whatever it was that we felt caused him to not be able to eat :(.

So, you go ahead and be scared for a little while and come here for comfort if you need it and know that there are those who just look at the thread and don’t post who add you to their prayers.

I am sorry for the bother and inconvenience for asking anyone to pray for me… that was very greedy of me…but right now I need all the help I can get… thank you! God bless!

Uhm sorry for bothering everyone, perhaps to many having cancer is nothing, but for me it is…Sorry that for some dying is nothing bad but something great but I do not wish to leave my children just yet at such a young age and perhaps with prayers GOD might have mercy on me and allow me to see my children grow!!

Anyhow, again sorry for the bother didn’t mean to bother anyone! God bless and hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving…

And for those that don’t post but read, and add me to their prayers and even those that don’t thank you so much for everything and GOD bless.

Honey, it is not a bother but an honor to go to our Lord on your behalf.

Lord, I ask that you lay your hand on your beautiful child, calm her, give her the strength she needs to get through this and anything that may come. Bless her family, Lord. Bless her children, this will be hard on them as well. Lord, be with her boyfriend, give him wise words and lots of love to give to this wonderful women. Lord, we don’t know your plans, but we ask for many more years on this earth for your child that she may be with her children. In Your Sons name, Amen.

Within a few weeks of dh and I getting married in 2004 my doctor’s office called and said they had found cells that were cancerous in my cervix and had me come in right away for a biopsy as it was in an advanced stage. Our families and friends started to pray immediately without ceasing. I went in the next day and had several large “cone shaped plug” biopsies taken from my cervix and was made to rest for several days while my body attempted to start healing. I am not going to kid you one bit. I was scared but knew it was out of my hands and continued to pray for strength but most of all for God’s Will to be done. The biopsy came back negative. The doctor was puzzled as were many others but not me. I knew it was His will. Many prayers for you.

I understand…God does work miracles and GOD bless you! Even though it’s hard not to worry…I am trying to keep myself thoughts with GOD, and prayer, I am at work right now but trying to keep it together for His will be done!
