bear with me everyone…i have a question that i can’t find the answer…

right when we die we believe that we (our soul) goes to
heaven, hell, or purgatory

and the soul is perfect and contains no illness, disability, cannot get tired etc…

but on last day (or is it the last judgement?)…doesn’t it say that peoples bodies will be reunited with their souls…

so what about people all across the world who were disabled or disfigured, or scarred, or had limbs missing etc…who have been in heaven for ages with no illness or whatever (because they are a soul)…to have to go back to their bodies at the last day (or judgement?)

i don’t understand it…

maybe someone could explain it to me…

At the last day, the bodies of those in heaven will become glorified bodies. Jesus gave us a hint of what was to come after His resurrection - he could walk through locked doors, for example. We know that there is no suffering in heaven, so we can conclude that our bodies will be flawless when our souls are reunited with them. Some have speculated that we will all be 33 years old, because that was the age of Jesus at His death. I’m not sure about that, especially since many have died before that age. But for sure, our bodies will cause us no suffering or distress.
