I stopped giving to the united way and any other group that supports mass genocide like planned parenthood. Many thought genocide stopped with Hitler, they are wrong. We murder millions in this country every year for convienence.

Who said seperation of chruch and state was good? Not the souls in the womb of their mothers and who are named by God.

I find the whole organization disgusting. I went to their site one day, and I was horrified. They say that teens should be sexualy active and that birthcontrol if fine. If that doesn’t work, they give you abortions!

www.teenwire.com is there teen site.

It’s evil…
Naturally they are disgusting, and bear in mind that what they publish is only what they think will be to their credit. In my opinion they are a for-profit, anti-woman, anti-life enterprise with a definite eugenic agenda (note where the clinics are often located)
Yes, evil incarnate.

Personally I think they’re helpful and informative, and provide a lot of services (even beyond contraception and abortion to gynecological exams, STD testing, and so forth) to those in need.

But that’s just me.

I wonder if any of the millions of baby boys and girls they aborted thought they were a helpful and informative organization?

UGH… I just shutter when I think about PP… so sick and disgusting… absolutely horrific.

I’m just glad my firewall at work blocks their sites… I’d just get mad and upset if I went and looked at it…

The only thing good about Planned Parenthood is that they offer free or low cost health care to women. But really I can’t say that this is really that much of a good thing because there are other clinics that do just the same thing without providing abortions! I also don’t like the distribution of abortifacient birth control. Giving out free condoms and spermicide is one thing but giving out abortifacient birth control is just wrong.

Planned Parenthood is horrible! The fact that it was founded by a eugenicist who wanted to “cleanse” society says enough about it.

I sincerely hope those who run Planned Parenthood have an experience with the Lord. The only thing that can help them now is the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin.

I personally know several women who turned to PP for health care services during various periods in their lives. None of them had abortions. For some it was the only health care service they could get. One woman had a very risky pregnancy and had no insurance. She has a beautiful healthy set of twin girls now. Another 17 year old went there to see counselors about an open adoption for her baby. She was not talked into an abortion, but she did end up keeping her baby.

Any rich woman can walk into a private doctor’s office and get all the same services as Planned Parenthood. PP makes it more affordable for all.

Despite what is written on these forums, I know that PP does more than provide low cost abortion and birth contol. So I am one of those who supports PP. For me, I have good insurance, so I don’t have to use their services. But I would go there if I had no other alternative.

I think it’s wrong to assume that every woman walking into PP is going for an abortion.

Bella,

I don’t even know how to respond to your post. You are basically defending planned parenthood - the largest abortion provider around the world. Yes, it may talk about other options, but its goal is fundamentally opposed to that of the Catholic Church. It supports the use of contraceptives (for that was Margaret Sanger’s original intent all along) and abortion since it became legal. It supports mortal sin, and murder. It supports the indocrination of our youth into the hyper sexualized, hedonistic, anti-life frame of mind which Pope Paul VI warned us about. It is opposed even to parental consent law, and I know that somewhere on there website it’ll say “And boys while you might oppose abortion you can’t force your girlfriend to have the baby”.

Please reconsider your POV.

Support for Planned Parenthood should have the same public stigma attached to it that support for the KKK or Nazism has. Somehow the perception that PP (or NARAL) is an acceptable mainstream organization has to be changed.
I completely agree. In fact, Planned Parenthood is another main branch from that time period. (American Birth Control League). With the quick-thinking leaders of that organization and the tremendous profits, it has managed to continue on when the other groups stumbled.

Bella,
Check out the site www.BlackGenocide.org.
It has this to say:
'It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had about 10 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated “Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 31 million, the missing 10 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America’s Black community would now number 41 million persons. It would be 35 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member.” ’

I could never support an organization that is attempting to “cleanse” the country of any group of my fellow Americans.
Of course the staff are helpful and kind if you go in for healthcare. Some of them may not even realize what they work for. But their bottom line is utterly evil . . .they were founded to eliminate the minority population, the “defectives” among us.

I agree with you. I went to a pp to get a pregnancy test after I was raped. I already knew I was pregnant but couldn’t afford a doctor and needed a note fromo a doctor or clinic to get medicaid. DO you know of another national clinic where someone wh amight be in a similar situation could go? I was terrified to go to PP because I was afraid I’d get in a debate over abortion with them. Luckily a firm answer from me that Abortion was not OK made thenm totally drop the subject.

No, there is no need to reconsider. I don’t agree with you.

How about the stats on white women?

Most Catholic women use artificial birth control.
So the laity, who have no vocation or authority of their own, and who are indeed the sheep which Jesus told Peter [the head of the Church] to feed (Jo 21:17) now, by a show of hands, are able to redefine morality? They now to rule the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood (Act 20:26)?
I don’t believe that.
What don’t you believe that abortion is murder? The Church says it is. It says that the soul enters the body at conception. And if there is a soul then it is murder.
That just sounds silly.
Teenwire
I am also opposed to that law.
Then you are violating the ten commandments, which say: Honour thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest be longlived upon the land which the Lord thy God will give thee. (Ex 20:12, & reiterated by Jesus in Mt 19:19) Incidently in Exodus it is listed right next to “Thou shalt not kill.” & “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” (Ex 20:13-14)
I believe that is a true statement, so what is your point?
I think this is sad 😦 Why doesn’t he have any parental rights when the child is biologically his?

My thoughts on PP are based on the large amount of medical claims for abortion that come across my desk on a daily basis.

Yes, crisis pregnancy centers such as Birthright, First Way, Bethany, etc. which are located all over the country and are pro-life will do free pregnancy testing and give referrals to hospitals for medicaid coverage for those who need it.

Here’s a hotline number for National Life Center: 1-800-848-LOVE

Wow Sweetchuck your letter was profound, I hope you get some response to it.

As far as learning about STD’s, isn’t that provided by your physician? Not all people who work at Planned Parenthood are physicians. And I would like to get my information from my doctor, who can provide much better information. Plus, if parents took an active role in the lives of their children in teaching sex education…particularly chastity and marriage to one and only one person of the opposite sex for the rest of their life, there wouldn’t be any sexual transmitted diseases to worry about. Advocating multiple partners leads to more than just STD’s, it leads to depression, spousal or dating abuse etc. For those who are not able to afford medical care there are crisis centers everywhere, like the Women’s Center, Carenet.org etc that provide free pregnancy help. Just contact your local Catholic Relief service and they will direct you. Just because Planned Parenthood has federal money to advertise, does not mean there are not agencies outside of Planned Parenthood to go to.

So go away Planned Parenthood! In my estimation, Margaret Sanger the founder had one desire, the elimination and extermination of minorities…she was a bigot first class!

Pray for all children…the unborn and all those who feel compelled to go to Planned Parenthood!
