Mine are:
- St. John Paul the Great
- St. Gregory the Great
- St. Peter
Is this actually his title? I hope it is.St. John Paul the Great
my bad… I don’t know what I was thinking… he became an advisor to the Pope. I guess I forgot he wasn’t a Pope because he has “the Great”St. Albert wasn’t a Pope.
Not officially, at least not yet.
Normally, I’d say let the title be given naturally through spontaneous use. But in this case, I think an official bestowal of the title is warranted. He was a truly great Pope and a brilliant mind. More needs to be done to recognise his status and achievements. However, there are MANY who are pushing for it… including John Paul the Great Catholic University and a number of Catholic schools that have been named “John Paul the Great”
