Please pray for my parish, San Secondo D’Asti. The Bishop is planning on closing it and it is the only traditional parish in the diocese. The EF and OF are celebrated each Sunday and also on Holydays.
The church building is owned by a family and is over a hundred years old.
The Bishop is not a friend to traditional parishes. The members come from all over within at least 70 miles to attend.
Please pray for a change of heart in the Bishop. We love our parish and I am afraid some people will lose faith by this action.
I do have a question, since it is not owned by the diocese is there anyway that priests can still celebrate the Sacraments without the permission of the Bishop?
