If I only use youtube for good purposes can it still be a near occasion of sin?
 
If you use it without the intent to sin, you should be fine…
You know how to turn the video off if you see something sinful.
 
Given your posting history, it seems that you might struggle with scrupulosity. You should speak to you’re priest and refrain from asking these questions on here. It will not help you to keep asking things like this online.

I use it all the time for my physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, and even religion classes. It can be a very good public resource…

Walking down the wrong street can be a near occasion if there are bars, etc and you are an alcoholic, but that doesn’t mean every street is a near occasion of sin!
