I am getting frustrated here. I am trying to listen to some music to pass along to a friend of mine, and these videos stops and starts all the time instead of playing continously. Is there another site that is better than Youtube??? :confused:

I think you’re just having buffer issues. Sometimes the video loads faster than you can play it, and sometimes the video loads slower, so you catch up and have to wait a few seconds. It all depends on internet speed and can’t be helped. 🤷
 
You could buy Internet with a greater bandwidth. In other words, you can upgrade to a faster Internet.
 
Do the videos have a selectable resolution? You could try viewing them in the lowes resolution- that should require less bandwidth. (Along the bottem of the video is an icon that looks like a gear, put your cursor over it and it should show you what quality settings are available).

Or, you could do a search for the same songs but with just a still picture vice video.
 
No, you can set up a basic Pandora account for free, but there will be ads. Personally the ads don’t bother me too much.

I’d also recommend checking out:

Last.fm
Spotify
Grooveshark
Soundcloud

I’ve personally only used Pandora and Last.fm, I prefer Pandora, but I think Last.fm might have less ads/no ads.

I have used Spotify but I didn’t like the fact that it was sharing what I was viewing on facebook. Would Spotifiy allow me to share a video with someone? I did like it tho.

Not sure about video sharing, but I can attest to the fact that you can turn off the Spotify Facebook posts. That was the condition under which I would get a Spotify account
 
I don’t know about Spotify, but on Pandora, you can click the “share” button and send an email to someone that will link them to the track and let them hear a sample of it. Is this for one specific song, or just sharing music in general?

Sharing music in general.
 
But remember, with Pandora, you cannot simply choose the song you want to listen to. You can choose an artist or song but Pandora will play songs similar to that artist and song. It will not play the song you requested.
