‘Catholics United’ to raise funds for congressman praised by NARAL

Catholics United, a politically liberal advocacy group, has announced that it will raise $500,000 to support the candidacies of four Catholic congressmen who, over the objections of the nation’s bishops, supported health reform legislation passed in March.

When will these cafeteria “Catholics” ever learn that the Church does not support their endeavors? When will they learn??? I mean really! The Church does not support abortion and never will. This whole “Catholics United” group is a dissident group and it thoroughly disgusts me. I pray for the day when they cease to exist.

Don’t lose sleep over this. Every large organization has dissent groups. Given the protection afforded free speech and rights of assembly there isn’t much that can be done except let them be part of the “white noise.”
