‘Yolanda’ survivors chill in rain as they await Pope Francis’ mass

Here is the look of the storm as of 8am local time from Accuweather. Tacloban is somewhere between the letter N and E of the word Philippine. Let us Pray for His safety as he celebrate Mass in a Category 1 Storm.
 
I’ve never actually traveled to the Philipines, but they seem to have a typhoon every two or three weeks. I’m guessing the Filopino people must be highly adept at weathering them safely.🤷

If that were true that no one dies or suffers because of storms, the Pope might not have come out there in the first place. At least according to the articles. Just sayin…

Most of the people who died in typhoons are due to storm surges or flooding. No cases of hypothermia that I know.
