I think a lot of Catholics have already moved out. It’s too expensive to raise a family there. Surely it’s too expensive on a public servant’s salary.I urge all Catholics in San Francisco to apply for jobs with the city. Those who already have jobs with the city should put in for promotion.
Shhhhh! Don’t tip our hand prematurely.I think a lot of Catholics have already moved out. It’s too expensive to raise a family there. Surely it’s too expensive on a public servant’s salary.
They want Catholics to move out of San Francisco. In fact, they’d like us all to leave the country. So if Catholics leave, that rewards them for their bigotry. The document sounded silly until I read this statement:
The Board of Supervisors urges Archbishop Niederauer and the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco to defy all discriminatory directives of Cardinal Levada…
That means that any directives regarding
adultery…
birth control…
female priests…
Instead of looking for a job in San Fran. I would encourage all Catholics to move out of San Fran. I am sure that businesses would love the fact that the Catholics left, and I am sure that the city treasurer would love the fact that all the Catholics left. Maybe they may have to cut a few jobs in the City Manager’s office. And if anyone asks why your quitting on San Francisco, hold up the resolution and say proudly:
I WAS EVICTED.
