Good. Can you imagine something similar happening with any other religion?

9th Circuit Court? Why bother and go directly to the Supreme Court.

Considering what is happening to Churches and Church people in Canada when they oppose the homosexual agenda, we can only pray that the Catholic Church prevails, else we gonna have that craziness in this country. Particularly if we lose it all the way up to the Supreme Court and they either refuse to hear it or find against the Church.

And if it happens, we have the right to oppose the unjust authorities.

Just out of curiosity, what are some scriptural references for opposing an unjust authority?
Maybe we can use this one:
Acts of the Apostles 5:25-29 And some one came and told them, “The men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people.” Then the captain with the officers went and brought them, but without violence, for they were afraid of being stoned by the people. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest questioned them, saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.” But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.” (RSV-CE)

I don’t understand. What do you mean “oppose the unjust authorities”? Oppose them how?
Perahps it’s Americas turn to fight for the Catholic Church, Irish and Scottish Catholics had to fight to preserve the true faith

The members of the council who made these statements-they’re elected officials-correct?

If we as Catholics want to be able to elect Catholic activists we’re going to have to understand that those of other groups-some of which we do not agree-are going to elect their own activists.

San Francisco has a large gay community and they vote for their own best interests and vote their values, just like a large Catholic community would vote for their best interests and their values. The homosexual community does a very good job of organizing their folks, educating them on the issues and getting them out to vote. Perhaps the Catholics and other Christians in the San Francisco area aren’t doing as well at that. 🤷

I don’t agree in any way with what these people said-I think they did exactly what they accuse the Church of doing. They look childish.
