“Molochite Catholics”

Eighty percent of California Catholics in the U.S. House defied the Church by voting in favor of the sacrifice of children for embryonic stem cell research

In ancient times, pagans and idolatrous Israelites offered human sacrifices by throwing babies and young children into fires as holocaust offerings to the false god Moloch. In A.D. 2007, neo-pagan and idolatrous “Molochite Catholics” are determined to offer young children – individual human beings in the embryonic stage of their lives – as sacrifices to the possibility that cannibalizing their stem cells will provide cures for other human beings.

On June 7, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 247-176 to pass Senate Bill 5, sponsored by Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, allowing human embryonic stem cell research. California’s congressional delegation, the nation’s largest, voted 41-11 to pass the bill. Sixteen of the 41 identify themselves as “Catholic” – 15 Democrats and one Republican.

It’s so sad that so many sell out their patrimony to please men, rather than God. 😦 . Pray for their conversion 😦

you beat me to it caveman!!

It begs to be asked whether these “Catholic” Politicans will be deprived of Communion as while we all debate whether they should or shouldn’t be excommunicated we should/can say that they can be deprived of communion until they repent.

Grave public sin that leads others into grave sin in called scandal, I believe. Approving the murder of children, more than that, us my tax dollars to pay for it is certainly grave public sin that will lead others (doctors, researchers, etc.) into grave sin.

Public excommunication for those who refuse to publicly renounce their vote seems reasonable.

Just based on some key issues, I fail to understand why so many Catholics are also Democrats?

While politicians cast very public votes, Catholic voters cast a private vote against their own religion in the voting booths. I’m not saying Republicans are always better choices, I’m not even saying that all Catholic politicians vote against our faith, but on average, Democrats are not a religion that Catholics should really support based on many of the votes they cast against us. It goes well beyond the issues of abortion and stem cell research. Lets not forget about laws/regulations regarding common decency, relaxation of FCC oversight, etc.
