Actually, you are right, totally. No way to account for it (hurried, harassed and exhausted, maybe), but I typed in the “ACC”, when I meant the Anglican Church in America/ ACA. Substitute that, all else remains the same. That is, the ACA is the American aspect of the TAC, and , in fact, brought the TAC into being. The first TAC primate (Falk) was at the time the Primate of the ACA.Actually the largest continuing Anglican group that is known as the Anglican Catholic Church is NOT part of the Traditinal Anglican Communion.
I believe they even had some legal battles in years past over some splits. If I understand correctly, the ACC uses the Anglican Missal exclusively, not so the TEC which has many regional variations.
They are not one in the same or a smaller part of the whole. They are two different groups altogether.
The ACC is one of the other major American Continuing jusirdictions, along with the APCK, the Diocese of the Holy Cross, and a couple of others. Whehter there has been legal nastiness between the ACC and the ACA, memory fails. But there was between the ACC and the Holy Catholic Church - Anglican Rite (I think) resulting in the latter’s somewhat awkward cognomen.
My apologies for my typo.
