Please do not put words in my mouth, I did not say the child shouldn’t listen to his parents. Nor did I say to listen to ME. You sound judgmental, stpuri when you speak this way.
You think in terms of "away from the Catholic faith… " to some other body, as if there is such a conversion. There is not! There is only one Christian body, some of them are Roman Catholic, others are not. Some of them think they are superior, others do not.
When this child turns 14 or 15 and is absolutely entrenched in the culture of this world, it won’t be about Catholic or Protestant. get real! It will be about, can they have the spiritual strength to call out to their savior, or just fall away.
