It is interesting to read the comments from Rochester readers on the link you posted. I strongly suspect the Bishopās yearly 'Catholic Ministry Appealā will suffer even greater losses next year. Bishop Clarkās leadership is strangling this diocese.

I have read the response posts. Poor Sarah, she has a lot of anger. We should keep Sarah in our prayers. I hope she is not a victim of the abortion industry. A lot of abortion industry victims lash out at the Church for the sex scandal, but turn a blind eye to girls (12, 13, 14 years of age) being taken to the abortion clinic by their 25+ years old āboy friend.ā
Having said that, I have a vacation home in the Rochester diocese and can say that this Bishop Matthew Clark is very unorthodox and is the type to follow the most recent trend. This, sorry to say, is the result of such poor leadership on Bishop Clarkās part.

Here in Western PA most of our Catholic Schools have been closed also. A few consolidated.
A few years ago they raised the cost so much that for a family to afford to keep the children in school both parents had to work 1.5 jobs. From $600 a year for each child in a practicing Catholic family to $3600 per child no matter if they were from Catholic families or not. (Many of the families or children in the schools do not belong to the Catholic Church. CCC is not part of the regular teaching schedule. They are in these schools because the academics are better then the public school district they would go to.) Any family with four school aged children would be liable for $14,000 plus books and uniforms per year for elementary education. For those that get some ābreakā in tuition it still could cost around $9000 a year plus books and uniforms.
We use Classic Catholic homeschool curriculum and it costs us around $900 per year and mom gets to stay home with the kids. No guilt about working and we know what the kids are being taught. Latin, math, history, science, reading, writing and the Catholic Faith. Plus lots of other good stuff.
Yes we are saddened that the opportunity for a parish education is no longer an option for many of us. But it seems that the parish school is just not of any import in this ānewā age of moral relativism.

Alleluja, thank you Jesus for this. Jesus is in control of the whole Universe and he shut down these Catholic schools because they DO NOT follow his word. Thank you Jesus!

I went back to church and the Pastor prayed over me and said āGod told me he loves you and the dream wasnāt from him.ā God heard my prayer! Only God heard it! A few days later I tried to bring one of my teachers at college to Christ and she rejected himā¦ I ran home in tears and cried out to Jesus telling him that my teacher doesnāt know him but I do and love him. He then showed himself to me! Right there in my bedroom I had a vision of Jesus Christ himself!! I have never ever ever seen a face so beautiful in all my life. He glowed and was all in white and had such love in his eyes!! āYour sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visionsā Acts 2:17. Another thing that happened is I had a heart condition and a group of holy spirit filled people prayed over me and touched my heart and I felt electricity go into my heart and I was 100% healed of my heart condition! Jesus healed me!
All this happened to me so I know God is real and that the New Testament is real and Christ is the ONLY way to heaven. This is real! How else would the things that happened to me happen!!! and God has put in my heart to tell people he is coming soon. He loves everyone and wants everyone to be with him. If you are without holy spirit and have not given your life to Christ you will be left behind for all eternity. What if he comes tonight? Will you be without holy spirit?
