Hello, CAF friends,
My 1962 Missal just arrived the other day, and I’m wondering: there is a liturgical calendar at the front which has a listing for each day. Some are in a bold font, and others are bold with all capital letters. Does anyone know, are these feasts vs. solemneties or something? And if one of those falls on a Sunday, would we observe that day in place of the usual nth Sunday after Pentecost or whatever? I’m wondering because I have recently taken on the job as organist for the TLM, and I’d like to program the hymns according to the readings for the day.
Thanks in advance and God bless,
CarrieH
