What in the world is this? 200 priest? If I’m to believe the media every single Priest seems to be a child molester, this is absolutely disgusting, and I’m not sure what to believe, especially as someone trying to join the Church at this time.

Honestly look the comments, this is going to be a witch hunt soon, but for Priest. If anyone can’t see the police just randomly raiding parishes I think you’re wrong.

Let’s not forget this is also the secular media. Prayers for the victims and for justice.Let us also remember that the Apostles remained faithful despite of the betrayal of Judas.
 
Let’s also not forget this California. By the standards of the porn capital of the US, one has to wonder what even constitutes abuse in this state. It could mean the priests remained celebate!

In the past 3 days there have been a multitude of stories about clerical abuse. All about priests and lawsuits that have already been reported on.

Convenient that the reappearance of these stories happens right after the Catholic Church spent weeks ridiculing Obamacare and the HHS mandate. Coincidence?

This is MSNBC in the midst of Obama’s reelection campaign, people. Don’t be so surprised.
 
The key word here is “suspected”.

How is this defined?

Many, many people are suspected of crimes that they are never convicted of.

Frankly, I can believe the truth of the suspicions. Living in Ireland has been an interesting education, especially in the spin the Church itself is putting around, to focus blame away from itself.

Here, the media have reported only truth as that has been and is as horrific as they aver.

I write this with tears in my eyes as the trust in the church here has gone from me. As from many . Thankfully my real trust is as it has always been, in Jesus.
