I read # 2 as being that Palin will become President of Alaska, which will be an independent country.

Why would anyone want to ransom Lou Dobbs?? Wouldn’t they be given the green cards and coupons just to keep him?
 
12.21.2012 is the date the Mayan calendar ends. It also marks an alignment of the sun with the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Some think there will be a global catastrophic event or “doomsday”.

I just think maybe the Mayan calendar ended because they knew there was going to be the alignment and weren’t sure if it would change the amount of days in the year or seasons. Therefore, couldn’t go on with the days of their calendar.

I don’t think it is going to be the end of the world, but if it is…we should pray for the non-believers in Christ and repent our sins everyday. We should actually do that anyway! We never know when our last day is. Live our lives to the fullest. I’m not going to stop my goals in life on a hunch.

NOBODY knows when Jesus will return, obviously it’ll be before humanity dies. I just pray we go with Him! :gopray:

Actually, it is just the end of a cycle on the calandar. King Pacal of Palenque predicted that the 80th round calandar anniversary of his kingship would be celebrated (still some 3000 years away), he did not believe ‘‘2012’’ to hold any apocalyptic significance.

Also the most precise convergance of the alignment of the Milky Way already took place, in 1998, and is a 36 year process.
