. . . . (Matt Walsh Twitter post) . . . .

Insane. Police are using drones to enforce social distancing by spying on Americans in their backyards. Police chief says invasion of privacy is worth it “if it saves one life.” At a certain point even the most obsequious bootlickers will have had enough . . .

. . . April 20, 2020, 4:51 p.m. EST: Below are some of today’s LifeSite articles on the coronavirus crisis:
. . . April 20, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Americans continue to grow frustrated at attacks on their civil liberties. More and more have joined protests demanding their states reopen.

Facebook says it has removed the promotion of “anti-quarantine events” in California, New Jersey, and Nebraska after “consultation” with state governments. . . .

We really want to set the precedent that tech platforms will remove protest events if government tells them to? No way that could go wrong https://twitter.com/donie/status/1252220943314927616 … . .

. . . The Daily Wire has released a video montage of Americans being arrested or harassed by authorities for exercising basic constitutional rights or doing activities like surfing alone in the ocean during the pandemic.

At The Stream , Rachel Alexander has highlighted how researchers at the National Institutes of Health “claimed there weren’t enough resources to plan for both a flu pandemic and a coronavirus pandemic. So they skipped the clinical trials on treatments for the coronavirus. However, money abounded for all the frivolous studies NIH performed.”

90.1% of the words in that article have nothing to do with the alleged drone.
drones, which come from a Chinese company, have been widely disseminated across the U.S. to 43 agencies in 22 states.
A lot of things are made in China. The one pictured in the article is a DJI Phantom.
In its July report, the Department of the Interior said it could not find a domestically produced drone that was competitive with DJI’s offerings and prices.

Are you sure it isn’t 90.0 %?

What’s your point?

My point is that 90.1% of the words in that article have nothing to do with the alleged drones.
Are you sure it isn’t 90.0 %?
I have an answer to more significant digits than that. But three digits is sufficient.

Yeah, it kind of feels like someone typed out a rant someone had and titled it after the first item in the rant.

When I read how well countries like Taiwan seemed to be doing with Coronavirus I began reading about their methods.
They impose strict fines and they do surveillance type practices of people’s movement that we would not accept here I think.
Thing is, they had problems way before us, never had to shut down, and they have like 20 new cases a day now and sometimes less.

Dictatorship at work. I fear we lose our freedoms at the other end of this. I don’t want the “cure” to be worse than the virus itself.
