I love the lines. I thought I heard one of the airport terrorists say to another “I love you man”. and of course, “I look like a wedding cake”.

MJE…I love the lines, too. Did you like when Chloe, Derek, and Jack were in the parking garage…Jack disappeared for a bit behind the car while he attacked the FBI guy…Derek was fearful…Chloe said “Relax. Jack’s really good at this.” I love Chloe…glad she didn’t get car bombed.

I liked the line where she corrected them as to how many laws she’d broken but then asked “do you want my help or not?!:”

Err… it’s on overthere?.. Can’t believe it took so long to get the new episode here to Downunder… But I’m certainly waiting. I watched the last session and 'twas brilliant…

The drama is awesome. Jack Bauer is the action hero of our decade.

I am surprised 24 didn’t win awards
I’m not. Jack reminds us that fighting terror can be a tough business. He is willing to sacrifice everything to save American lives. He does not let regulations stop him when there is no other way to act in time.

In my opinion, Jack represents the strong, American spirit and mainstream Hollywood hates that.

What do you think about giving himself up for the kid? Fortunately the terrorist didn’t shoot him on the spot. What good would our hero be dead?

Jack made a promise to Derek’s mother that he would get him out alive. He was keeping his promise.

Also, since this is television, we know that Jack will survive and somehow outsmart the bad guys. I realize the real world doesn’t work that way, but it makes for good tv.

Did anyone catch Michael Medved’s interview w/ the creator of 24? I could only listen for a few minutes. He described himself as a conservative and found it interesting that B. Steisand, among others, liked the show.

I see your point…but you would think awards would be on how good a show it is …

I like the show and can’t believe it took so long for me to start watching…

I heard him being interviewed on Laura Ingraham’s radio show, I think it was either last Friday or this past Monday. I also found that comment about Babs interesting.

And then…

Derek: “Is he [the FBI agent] okay?”

Chloe: “Yeah.” -few seconds pause- “I think.” 😃

DH and I were glued to our seats. We’re so happy to have our show back!

I was so bummed and shocked David Palmer was killed! Loved his part!

Also very shocked that that one secret service guy is “in on it.” Wonder what he’s getting paid to turn his back on America?

I also didn’t like the man-child Zack at first, kind of self entitled and whiny - but I like him now.

Is Tony going to die too? He can’t, he’s too important of a link to Jack.

I love Mondays!!!

It seems like the writers looked back to the Nixon era and took some behaviors of Martha Mitchell for the president’s wife. There was some weird stuff going on with her in those days! Always wondered if there was truth to her claims.

I saw Kiefer Sutherland on Charlie Rose the other night. I found it ironic that he is the executive producer of the show and is very liberal and anti-Bush.

I would love to be the fly on the wall during production meetings with the creator and liberal executive producer.

Did anyone watch 24 tonight?
  • I did. I didn’t like Spencer from the first day. Now I know why. And how about the “showdown” between Audrey and Diane? Personally, I’d rather see Jack and Diane. And I was really hoping Mrs. Logan would find someone to rat to…cause a huge stink.*

I get a big kick out of Cloe! But what a weird group of people at work - I think I’d rather work at Capitol One!
