Yes he does want his Church to be unified Elvisman. So, stop over doing it with all the Mary garb and cease from this unbiblical practice of thinking the pope is Christ on Earth and start thinking of being unified with Christians who staunchly worship the one true soverign God and focus upon nothing else especially when it is wrongful to do so.
“So, stop over doing it with all the Mary garb…”

This statement blows me away. When Jesus told John, “Behold your mother”.

Is that the response you would give Christ? Stop the Mary garb?

Awesome.

We as catholics do no more than what Christ asked of James. We behold Mary in a way that is unique of all women.

NOBODY said the Pope is Christ on earth read below for what the Church *actually *is which is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit:
  1. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
Happily Catholic,

Just footnoting that this is the Gospel of John Chapter 20 and the absolute beginning of the need for Confession. Seller1: The Pope is the Vicar of Christ, not Christ on earth.

Many disenchanted Catholics leave the Church because they can’t face Confession. That makes Confession pretty awesome. They find an opportunity from certain protestant churches that tell them they only have to confess directly to God. Well, that certainly makes it forever easier.

Non-Catholics have never experience the unbearable weight that comes off one’s shoulders when you trust in Christ decision to go to Confession the way He says one should.

It takes trust in Christ and a whole lot of guts, to boot, to get into a Confessional and take responsibility of some terrible sins: I must own the sin as my choice for committing it, I must ask Jesus for forgiveness, and I must repent of these sins. If I weillfully choose to lie about anything in the Confessional, regardless of the priest’s absolution, all of my sins remain.

Going to confession often helps prevent me from committing sins of death in the first place because I don’t allow these horrible thoughts to crawl around in my mind long enough to make the sinful thought turn into a sinful act. Lord, thank you for the Sacraments of Confession and Pennance.

Bit off track , but I juste wanted to mention it.

May God guide us all always

Indeed! And another added benefit is economic. Just think of all the dollars saved in therapy bills!

Confession is much better for the souls than therapy/counseling/lying on the psychiatrist’s couch, and better on the bank account to boot! 😃

PR Merger,

So very true. You have therapists, alcoholic anonymous, and all the other anonymouses that people end up at since they tend not to tune up their souls on a very regular basis.

It truly does help prevent one from getting too emotional off-center.

Thanks for responding.
