i believe they are. no guns allowed. but the suspect pulled up outside and exited his vehicle and began firing. he was not a customer.

Sounds like he was crazy. Maybe he is an MKUltra subject. Either way crazy people are a danger. But the liberals like for them to be free to walk the streets and kill people.
 
I don’t think so. I don’t think the NRA wants crazy people to have guns and they definitely don’t want them to use them to kill. But even if they didn’t have guns they’d use knives like the man did in California killing another man in a restaurant.
 
Maybe they should post a sign outside of all restaurants…fast food joints…“this is a guns only zone”

The story is still developing. I’m in the area and watching it on TV now. Is it being shown nationally as well? Or are we locals the only ones getting the coverage?

Thank you, Peebo.I think basketball is supposed to be on ABC right now. But we’re still getting our local news. They usually go off the air at 7am for GMA Weekend. Today, they stayed on.We’re in Hour 5 of this story.Make that 7 hrs. (They come on at 5am on weekends, 4am during the week.)

4 dead, 4 injured so far. They say 2 of the victims are still in surgery.

Nope. They’ve got his apartment building surrounded. He came back for a change of pants and then fled into the woods. The rain we’re getting removes the scent of the person being pursued.
 
This is so sad. I really believe that we need more effective gun control laws. However, I have to say that if people were faithful to God, this wouldn’t happen so much. Therefore, I see things like this as a symptom of the moral atrophy of our nation.

Rest in peace to those who were murdered.
 
There will be a news conference in 30 minutes. The shooter will have at least 4 counts of murder against him.
 
The shooter’s truck is being hauled away now. It was still at the Waffle House!
 
That heroic act by a customer saved countless lives at a Nashville-area Waffle House, where a seminude gunman killed four people early Sunday morning.

“He saw the gunman looking at his rifle. At that point, the shots had stopped,” Metro Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said.

“So he decided to rush the gunman, actually wrestled that assault rifle away, tossed it over the counter. At that point, the gunman then fled.”

Shaw suffered minor injuries in the melee, including cuts and an injured elbow.

It is funny that you have no problem saying what liberals want, but you take exception to others saying what the NRA wants. Only the NRA can speak for the NRA and only liberals can speak for liberals.
 
But liberals really do want crazy people walking the streets. They don’t necessarily want them killing people, but it is an inevitable consequence.

Amen! And he wisely has chosen to get psychological help so he can put this trauma behind him. I’m glad he has the presence of mind to do that.

I applaud this hero for wrestling the gun out of that shooter’s hands and throwing it over the counter. Most people would be panicky in such a situation. But this brave hero. God bless him. His friend hid several people in one of the bathrooms until it was over. So we actually have 2 heroes.

Unfortunately, the shooter is still on the loose.
 
Latest is that the shooter is still on the loose. Many possible sightings but nothing confirmed. Police presence still strong in the area of the apartment complex. He’s now on the FBI’s Top Ten list.

Schools will be open tomorrow (just come off of Spring Break) but won’t allow any visitors.

Glad our school system’s taking these precautions.
