4-year-old Ben hung in freak accident

If anyone is still awake—

I just got a call from my best friend. Her youngest son was rushed to the ER earlier this evening after a horrible, freak accident in their back yard—he somehow got hung. He was blue and had no pulse when he was found. He’s now in a sedated coma in the ICU. Doctors have no idea how much brain damage may have been done. Please take a minute and pray for him.

Father of all love and consolation, we beg You to look with immense care and Divine concern upon young Ben and his grieving family as they seek the strength to cope with this tragedy. May the Rock of our salvation, Your Blessed Son Jesus Christ, intercede on Ben’s behalf, so great is His love of the innocent “little ones”. May Your love be revealed through the actions and words of the doctors, nurses and technicians who care for Ben, as they draw upon their depth of compassion throughout this ordeal. We beg also for Your Healing Mercy to be upon young Ben, as all healing comes from You, O Lord. Since even the cells of our bodies obey Your Mighty Commands, we ask that you send Heavenly Healing to provide immediate and lasting hope for this family, who needs a Divine Shepherd to guide and protect them. We ask all of this, with the greatest faith we can muster, in the Blessed and Glorious Name of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord and Savior. Amen! Alleluia!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
 
Lord, we look to you today with tearful sorrow for Ben and his family in the aftermath of this tragic accident. Watch over them Lord, in your divine love and mercy, be with them all at Ben’s bedside, comforting them with your most tender love. Be it Your Will Father, bless Ben with your healing grace, that he may be restored to perfect health. Grant Ben and his family strength Father, to endure and overcome this terrible tragedy. Hold them in your loving arms, as they weep for their little one. May they find comfort in your presence Lord, and look to you now and always for all that they need.

God. Ben needs Your help. His little 4 year old body has encountered a tragic accident. Please, God, with Your help we pray that you will bless this little child and make him well. Please give his family and friends hope and encouragement. If it be Your will, help Ben and restore his health. Guide the doctors and nurses that care for him and give them the skill and knowledge needed for Ben’s recovery. Amen, Amen

Dear Lord Ben this 4 year old child whom you created needs you to let him survive and be healthy and healed and whole . Lord bring him out of the coma totally healed and without any brain damage . Praying for Ben and his family through the intersession of John Paul the Great who so loved the young people of this world and whose 3rd anniversary we observed yesterday.

O Holy Trinity,
we thank you for having given to the Church
Pope John Paul II,
and for having made him shine with your fatherly tenderness,
the glory of the Cross of Christ and the splendor of the Spirit of love

He, trusting completely in your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary, has shown himself
in the likeness of Jesus the Good Shepherd
and has pointed out to us holiness
as the path to reach eternal communion with You.

Grant us, through his intercession, and by bringing our petition to Our Lady, the grace that we implore,
in the hope that he will soon be numbered among your saints.

Look down in sweet mercy upon this little child. You said, “Let the little children come to Me.” I ask that you take this child’s body into Your loving arms and heal him from all his injuries. Touch his little body and make it whole once again. Bless his distraught parents today. Let a miracle happen in their lives.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

We ask that you watch over Ben, a precious “little one” whose small body cries for comfort. We ask that you watch over his family and friends.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
