First of all, congratulations!I will be 46 years old in September and I am pregnant. I conceived naturally and I am about 14 weeks pregnant. My oldest daughter is 22 and will have her second child next month. My youngest is 8 years old. I really didn’t expect to be pregnant at my age but here I am. So I am looking for some moral support especially if there are any mom’s out there that had a child at my age. I am really anxious and overwhelmed and thinking of the worst since I am considered a high risk pregnancy. I would really like some reassurance and prayers please.
Thanks!
I’m 45 and 10 weeks pregnant with my 6th child. My eldest is 12 and my youngest is almost 4. I must admit, I thought I was done. I was open to the possibility of another child, but it just seemed so unlikely. I had two miscarriages a year and a half ago, then nothing for so long. I allowed myself to leave “baby mode”. I got rid of all the baby stuff, but more importantly, I started to envision a life without little ones. This is requiring a major adjustment on my part.
I’m actually looking forward to having a baby, but I’d rather not go through the pregnancy part.
I’ll pray for you; please pray for me as well. These babies are a gift from God and we will love them and they will love us. They’ll keep us young and simultaneously make us old All of my babies have been born in my 30s and 40s. I never knew being a “young” mother, but this geriatric motherhood is a whole new thing.
