Great tips from others already. Thank you.
Incorporating a new habit takes time, effort and a commitment to follow through to the end. And this is even more so when it comes to our prayer life.
The #54DayNovena is a powerful prayer. And to be able to do it well takes practice like all things. The more you do it, the better you become of it.
What helps me is that I continue with it even if I miss a day or two. I ask Mother Mary to help me to be consistent and pray it well. Not an excuse to be lax, but a motivating reminder that I am not perfect and life happens and all I can do is to keep doing it until I can do it well. This helps to take away most of the pressure to be perfect. As I know I can only do my best if I sincerely start and see it through to the end no matter what happens along the way.
You can even start a 54 Day Novena for the sole purpose of praying it well. I actually highly recommend this as your prayer intention.
Tips:
- Ask Mother Mary or your patron Saint to help you pray and pray well.
- Start a 54 Day Novena with the prayer intention to pray and complete it well.
- Pray at the same time or at any time if you have time.
- Mark your calendar as you progress daily.
- Pray the 54 Day Novena with others so you can remind and motivate each other.
- Pray the Rosary daily that your prayer life becomes a habit even if you’re not praying the 54 Day Novena.
- It’s ok to miss a day or two… Mother Mary supports and helps us if we commit to not quitting and just keep moving forward with it.
As you pray it more, the better you’ll be at it. And by God’s grace and Mother Mary’s blessing, our prayer life and our intentions will be made clear, stronger and hopefully answered.

Blessings and happy Advent! #JMJ +++
