Any advice for praying the 54-day rosary novena? I’ve been trying to pray the rosary consistently every day, but if I miss a day then I find it hard to catch up. When this happens, I start the whole 54-day novena over again. The best I was able to do was say the rosary three days in a row. I really like praying the rosary and I’ve noticed that when I do pray it, I feel less pain from my sickness and my family argues less. What’s a good way to pray the rosary consistently every day?

Do it early in the day. Perhaps on your drive or commute to work. You can listen to it on youtube if you do not have it memorized. Or you can do 1 decade here and there throughout the day. I’ve also started to pray it while I am cleaning. I thought before that was not allowed, but sometimes that is better then nothing!

I felt the same way and was always having to restart the 54 days. But then something really bad happened in my family and I suddenly found the time to pray 9 rosaries a day! I realized all the times I would forgot or thought I was too busy, it just was not a priority in my mind and I could have fit it in. Try to make it a priority… as if there was something urgent going on, and I guarantee you’ll find a way. Best of luck!

In the car, waiting for the wife, walking the dog, in the shower…
I’ll fit a decade in wherever and whenever I can.
I try to do them all continuously, but that’s not always possible.
I’ve been able to get all four sets of mysteries in every day for 7 months straight now.

There are two basic ways to pray the Rosary daily; the first is to have a daily routine, and the other is to fit it in to your day. I pray routinely Monday through Friday driving home from work. On the weekends I try to fit it in to the goings on. Sometimes I can say an entire Rosary at once, but I often fail (or fall asleep). Saying a decade here and there is more reliable for me.

🤩 Great tips from others already. Thank you.

Incorporating a new habit takes time, effort and a commitment to follow through to the end. And this is even more so when it comes to our prayer life.

The #54DayNovena is a powerful prayer. And to be able to do it well takes practice like all things. The more you do it, the better you become of it.

What helps me is that I continue with it even if I miss a day or two. I ask Mother Mary to help me to be consistent and pray it well. Not an excuse to be lax, but a motivating reminder that I am not perfect and life happens and all I can do is to keep doing it until I can do it well. This helps to take away most of the pressure to be perfect. As I know I can only do my best if I sincerely start and see it through to the end no matter what happens along the way.

You can even start a 54 Day Novena for the sole purpose of praying it well. I actually highly recommend this as your prayer intention.

Tips:
  1. Ask Mother Mary or your patron Saint to help you pray and pray well.
  2. Start a 54 Day Novena with the prayer intention to pray and complete it well.
  3. Pray at the same time or at any time if you have time.
  4. Mark your calendar as you progress daily.
  5. Pray the 54 Day Novena with others so you can remind and motivate each other.
  6. Pray the Rosary daily that your prayer life becomes a habit even if you’re not praying the 54 Day Novena.
  7. It’s ok to miss a day or two… Mother Mary supports and helps us if we commit to not quitting and just keep moving forward with it.
As you pray it more, the better you’ll be at it. And by God’s grace and Mother Mary’s blessing, our prayer life and our intentions will be made clear, stronger and hopefully answered.

🕯️ Blessings and happy Advent! #JMJ +++
