Lectio Divina is becoming more popular (at least in our area.) It is now even taught in some high school religious ed programs. It’s hard for the noisy modern world to slow down enough to practice the essence of silence and this prayer technique and it takes time to cultivate the four levels. If one is committed to it, it is most surprising how spiritually enriching it is.
