Sure he has. I think this is why some people see the debate so differently than I do. President GW Bush was a historically awful president, yet somehow people have convinced themselves that the historically awful president is Obama.

I literally burst out laughing when I read this. You do understand the difference between opinion and fact, I would hope. History is not a person. You are not that person. Just want to clear that discussion is pointless if someone inflates the value of their own opinion, especially in such subjective areas.

Okay. I caught my breath. Historical perspective is something time alone can give and therefore is one area where age truly makes one wiser.

There could be some envy in why a lot of people do not like him but I think maybe more it could be because usually most people can take just so much of someone who is constantly bragging about themselves.
That is true for me, but the greatest issue is that I cannot stand bullies.

I found that funny as well.

Donald Trump’s Birther Moment Tells Us about Donald Trump, and Not Much Else
It was only a matter of time before Donald Trump had a moment with a genuinely crazy person. Taking questions last night at a well-attended New Hampshire rally, the candidate found himself in a difficult spot. “We have a problem in this country,” a particularly angry inquisitor proposed. “It’s called Muslims. We know our current president is one. You know he’s not even an American. Birth certificate, man! We have training camps growing where they want to kill us. That’s my question: When can we get rid of ‘em?”
In the interest of fairness, it should be acknowledged that Trump did not explicitly agree with this contention. But he didn’t exactly disagree either. Instead, he channeled his inner Miss America and deployed a magnificent string of gibberish: “We’re gonna be looking at a lot of different things,” he explained. “And you know that a lot of people are saying that, and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there. We’re going to be looking at that and plenty of other things.” Later, when asked to clarify, his spokesman explained incongruously that “Christians need support in this country. Their religious liberty is at stake.”

Bush is the root of all evil
Every president has done good and every president has had his mistakes. This is why we can not put our trust in the president but in God.

I felt our country was much safer with George W. Bush than I do today with Obama.

I don’t “blame” Bush for 9/11 but to say “He kept us safe” is laughable, at best. The fact that Jeb followed that sentence with “do you remember the rubble?” begs the question “Do YOU remember the rubble, Jeb?” That happened on your brother’s watch.

These things also happened during Bush’s presidency:

July 4, 2002: Hesham Mohamed Hadayet kills 2 at the El Al ticket counter at LAX.

March 3, 2005: Mohammed Reza Taheri-azana drives an SUV onto a crowded part of campus at UNC at Chapel Hill, injuring 9.

July 28, 2006: Naveed Haq kills 1 and hospitalizes 5 in a shooting at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.

Aug 30, 2006: Omeed Aziz Popal kills 1 and injures 17 in SUV rampage that began in Fremont, CA, and ended at the Jewish Community Center of SF.

Feb 12, 2007: Sulejman Talović opens fire at the Trolley Square Mall in Salt Lake City, killing 5, injuring 4, while shouting “Allahu Akbar!”

what about all the intelligence gathered under Clinton? Bush barely had his feet wet in office.
You’d have to use hindsight to pin it on Clinton and if you’re going to do that then whynot go all the way back to Reagan? How long do you think a President hast to be President before they’re expected to do what Presidents should do?

This is anti (George W.) Bush garbage - literally nothing more. And I don’t even like him.

Of course, President GW Bush was the best president ever. We were so safe under his watch that the worst terrorist attack in US history happened under his watch. We were so safe that we started an unnecessary war with Iraq to get rid of weapons of mass destruction that didn’t exist. We were so safe that we had to torture people. How could I be so wrong?

I listened to the end of the debate and was surprised to hear Governor Bush talk about his abuse of marijuana in college, but boy, does that explain a lot. People that abuse alcohol and drugs are just dumber as they get older, even if they break the habit. It’s just sad, but basically, you can’t trust the brains of anyone over 60 if they’ve had a history of alcohol or drug abuse.

They did a trial run on the WTC under Clinton in 1993. Also blew up a USS Cole in 2000.
You can call it a trial run if you wish, but their desire was to bring the building down. They failed. They returned 8 years later to finish the job. and I believe between '93 and 2000 there were other attacks around the world. After 9/11 because of laws put in place by Bush and stricter investigations the attacks practically stopped around the world. Once Obama was elected terrorism raised its ugly head domestically and internationally. Obama bears responsibility since he has been in the Oval Office. He made his speech in Egypt early in his first term. Between him, Valerie Jarrett and Hillary they helped bring in the Arab Spring I am sure. Now look what a mess we have.

I am sure Jeb Bush did not abuse marijuana to the extent Barack Hussein Obama did while in high school in Hawaii and probably on in to his adult years.

There were 8.2 million marijuana arrests in the USA between 2001 and 2010. What i don’t understand is why the rich and politically connected can use all the marijuana they want and not go to jail, but the poor and the common man get arrested for using marijuana? Is that the way America works? No justice for the poor.
