Not a topic goes by dealing with guns when JonNC does not post how gun rights are an enumerated right in the Constitution - before addressing any other aspect of the question, as if that one observation is all that need be said.
What it does is place the legal and proper framework for what government can and cannot do.

It is true of every other right. Before government can act to limit my rights or yours, it has to look to the constitution. It is the legal document under which the government must operate.
Whatever else is said must fall into that framework.

In your opinion. There is not guarantee to private or secretive ownership of guns, or a prayer room, but then I do not think anyone can use your prayer room to wipe out a bunch of children.
The first two you mention are rights. To mix the third one in, wiping out children is:
  1. not a right. In fact , it is the opposite of a right.
  2. entirely unrelated to either of the first two, which are rights.
Are you arguing that the government has the power to demand you reveal a prayer room in your house to register it?
Do you not realize the danger in that?
Can you name the enumerated power granted government in the constitution to do this?

i see that such a demand would be ridiculous, which is why we do not have such a silly law. However, I cannot logically name an enumerated power which does not exist, but I can point out the illogical question. I said such an action is not unconstitutional, meaning, it is not in the Constitution. Then you asked where it is mentioned.

Why?
Did you not read about 1930’s Central Europe?
As a Catholic, are you not aware of the secular attacks on our faith generally and you communion particularly?

If it isn’t in the constitution as an enumerated power, it shouldn’t be done by government. I’m not sure of the confusion

You just confirm my point.

The confusion is that your opinion is not law, confusing “shouldn’t” with “can’t,” as well as what the Constitution actually is. There also nothing enumerating the right to limit abortion, or regulate drug trafficking (legal and illegal), etc. but all of those can be addressed by Congress, even though they are not mentioned.

“Congress shall make no law respecting…” assumes the power of Congress to actually make laws. It is inherent in having a Congress. Any law not forbidden by the Constitution, like requiring a strict registration of all guns is constitutional, buy definition.

Again, you provide a definition that the framers would and did reject.

The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.”. -Madison

“I consider the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground that ‘all powers not delegated to the United States, by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states or to the people.’ To take a single step beyond the boundaries thus specially drawn around the powers of Congress, is to take possession of a boundless field of power, not longer susceptible of any definition.” -Jefferson
