Actually, I take back what I said because I think I know the answer. There’s no marital fighting involved because the women are taught to strictly obey their husbands and never to challenge them. So I guess there would be no fighting or disagreements going on.I think that’s a very good point.
That’s one of the reasons why I am personally against newlyweds living with parents. You’re probably going to have at least a couple of big newlywed fights initially, and it’s important to be able to express disagreements without having any third parties chiming in or “helping.”
I find that when visiting in-laws, not being able to speak my mind to my husband in front of the in-laws is one of the primary burdens.
To have absolutely no ability to have a private disagreement about anything before getting married is interpersonally crippling.
