85 year old MIL had hip surgery and now hospitalized with complications

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Harriette). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Harriette’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Good to hear the surgery went well and thankful she didn’t need the full hip replacement. Praying her pain will ease and for a speedy recovery. 🙏

Lord, look upon Harriette with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon her, may your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom.

Thank you all so much for your prayers for my mother-in-law … she is not doing well … she can’t seem to put weight on her legs … and when she moves she screams in pain … I guess it’s just going to take time … but wanted to let you know that the prayers are appreciated and needed.

Holy Saint Joan, compassionate to the sick and wounded, who, while on earth, nursed so many back to health, hear me.

You who wished to see no one injured or in discomfort, pray for @Katherine438’s mother-in-law and guide her through this difficult time.

Daughter of God, wounded many times in battle, I petition you for healing of body, mind, soul, and spirit, so that she may be better able to serve God in whatever capacity He wishes. Intercede for her please. Help her to remain strong and be healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

She can’t walk and the hospital is saying she needs to be transferred to a rehab facility … we are all worried because of the covid-19 that has plagued nursing homes and rehab facilities in New Jersey.

that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,

Update … she is walking very slowly with a walker … she walked 12 feet today … my sister-in-law got a hospital bed and a wheel chair and is ready to have her come home when they release her … she will be getting therapy at home 3 times a week and a nurse will come in once a week … going to be a long haul, but she is a strong personality even at 85 years old … prayers would still be appreciated. She is living with my sister and brother-in-law so she will have good care.

Wanted to say thank you to everyone for your prayers … they are most appreciated … if you could continue to pray for her recovery it would be further appreciated.

Update … my mother-in-law came home from hospital 2 days ago … then she started having problems … both urinary and with her bowels … then she started getting burning pain in the leg where she had the hip surgery … doctor said to bring her back to hospital … blood work showed that she now has sepsis … is being treated, but she is seriously ill … please pray for her if you can.
