As the Parousia draws ever nearer, and will arrive suddenly, have mercy on us, O Lord.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, draw many souls to your breast.
May your light guide all seeking hearts.
May your love encompass all.
Protect and defend even the non-believers, for their time of conversion also draws near.
Lord, forgive us for requiring signs and wonders before this world believes and unite in You.
Look upon creation - which you are sustaining - and grant the incomparable peace which You alone give.
