A “confession” of sorts - no, not the ‘auricular’ confessional booth kind. I don’t believe in it now anyways.

@Jon_Sorensen ,

Hello brother Jon, and to all those at CAF. . . .

What would your faith have been before Ellen Gould White? Before John Smyth? Before Henry VIII? Before Jean Cauvin? Before…well, you know.

I pray only that your hunger for Christ cannot be satiated by anything other than Christ in His Body, Blood, Soul and divinity. I pray that you long for Jesus’ words of absolution when you reveal your sins and your sorrow for them. I pray that you avail yourself of the Anointing when you are nearing life’s end or gravely ill.

In short, I pray that someone who unknowingly walked away from Christ as He intended us to receive Him - will return, as that beloved souls is always welcome.

For all the truth and beauty in Adventism, each and every specifically Adventist belief was formulated by man and not revealed by God. We have free will.

Choose wisely.

That which is in the Bible, which is Seventh-day Adventism. Jesus, Adam, etc from the beginning is Seventh-day Adventist. I am not joking. The name ‘Seventh-day Adventistism’, and faith/practice thereof, doesn’t rest with sister White.

This can be shown from Genesis to Revelation.

It would be like asking what would your faith be before the ‘Catholic’ church?

Surely you would point to the OT, etc, just as I have.

So it is not really a great question. Yet thank you for asking it. The real question is, what is the religion as taught in scripture?
