In the TRANSFIGURATION OF CHRIST, It was the Apostle James, - one of the Twelve, who disregarded by Luther, „fueled“ the special adoration of Holy Mary in the Catholic Church. Since Luther was a CATHOLIC monk, he must have known. So why through Luther, ceased the adoration of Holy Mary? As Luther and all Catholics know, Catholics never worship Holy Mary, but ask her for intercession and succor, now, and in the hour of our dying.
Remarkable really, that Luther named this Episte James (Jakobus) he wrote to all, therefore called the universal= Catholic letters; a „straw-episte, Luther „kindles his oven with". Holy Mary, selected by God; - James, one of the Three Jesus selected to see His transfiguration - God’s further proof: This really is My begotten Son. Adding the many miracles Jesus achieved.

Now, as to the three sons of „the other Mary“ and Zepedee, James the elder and James the lesser and John. Their sons, James and John, were probably disciples of St. John the Baptist and seem to have become aware of Jesus of Nazareth as the promised Messiah. I rather should have thought were wished by Jesus to become His disciples.
Having witnessed several miracles of the Lord, one day they were busy with Peter at the lake; Jesus came and told Peter to throw out the nets just once more on the other side of the boat, which was followed by a huge catch of fish. James and John helped bring the rich prey into the ships. Then Jesus first invited Peter and Andrew and then the two sons of Zebedee to stay with him: he would make them human fishermen. The holy evangelist Matthew emphasizes: “But they immediately left the nets and their father Zepedee and followed him” (Mt 4:22).

Now of course the world denies not only Jesus’ divinity, Mary’s perpetual virginity, moreover so the authorship of all biblical texts - mainly James’ „catholic letters“ and even quite a few of Paul’s letters. We simply got to cope with this fact. It doesn’t even make sense to argue, for „biblical resurge“ on just these question goes on and on over the generation without an end, as atheists keep raising counter-arguments over all centuries.
James the elder was brother to St. John. James the lesser, Son of Alphaeus was apparently author of his “Catholic Letter“. (Letter to all).

But same as many Theologians work on confirmation of biblical texts, there are other theologians who work on their destruction. Truth of faith will forever and until Jesus Christ comes back to judge the living and the dead, be matter of belief or disbelief. Blessed is he, who never leaves Jesus Christ and Christ’s truth so emphatically emphasized by Jesus Himself, as by His Apostles and our Church - both led by The Holy Spirit.

We got the choice for pro or con God. Detail as to who wrote what in which form, are here as irrelevant as can be. He who asks for insight in granted insight. He who prefers doubts, will be left alone in his doubts.

Jesus Christ often enough therefore asked people directly: “Do you believe this?” And Jesus promised: He who believes will never die in John 11,26: I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies, and the one who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” She replied,; “Yes, Lord, I believe!

Yours

in Vatican news Bishop Hoser is cited with:

In all the veneration of St. Mary, Jesus Christ is the center of attention.
It is the “Marian Way” that many pilgrims have identified as the surest way to that happiness. However, the veneration of the Virgin "is really a cult that has Christ at its center, since, like Paul VI. said - it has its origin and its efficacy in Jesus Christ. It finds its perfect expression in Him and leads to the Father through Christ in the Holy Spirit. "

This article may be considered controversial
Why?

After all, it just rehashes ideas about Jesus that were in vogue in the 60’s and 70’s!

I mean… if you want to call it ‘retro’ or ‘old and tired’, I’d agree. But ‘controversial’? Nah.

Jesus as “political revolutionary” is a meme that’s over 60 years old. We’ve already seen it and disregarded it for the one-dimensional, slanted assertion that it is. 😉

How so? Do you think political conservatives hate the poor for some reason?
I wouldn’t say hate, but they do tend to have a very hard nosed approach to the poor; It’s their fault, or we shouldn’t have to pay for them etc. Perhaps these idea’s represent an extremism among conservatives, i don’t know.
