It’s quite possible that the Lord was speaking to you in that way, with that message. It’s common in dreams for there one person you know to actually represent someone or something else.
I wouldn’t say that that’s certainly what the Lord was saying to you, of course. Usually, after I get a dream that I think may be from the Lord, I ask him to give me some clear follow-up sign.
If the dream is just obviously from God, I don’t bother with that.
If it’s obviously not from God, I don’t bother either.
If you don’t feel sure, you could always ask him to give you a sign you can be sure about, which tells you whether or not the dream was from him. But whether the dream was from him or not, the message is a godly one. God always wants to spend more time with us, and for us to spend more time with him

. And the scripture tells us to pray continually. The Lord always wants more intimacy with everyone, so this is clearly not out of line with God’s personality.
Unless it’s judging you and telling you you’ve been bad, or something, but it doesn’t sound like it was.
The Lord speaks to people through dreams quite frequently. He’s spoken in that way to me several times.
